Service Chiefs appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari have been on Tuesday confirmed by the Nigerian Senate.

The affirmation adopted the report by the Senate Committee on Defence submitted to the Senate plenary.

After the affirmation, the Senate President, Dr Ahmad Lawan enjoined them to take the battle in opposition to insurgents to the forest.
