Abducted Kagara students – Niger Gov, Sani-Bello provides update


The Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani-Bello has debunked hearsay making the rounds on social media that the 27 college students and three academics kidnapped on Wednesday morning at Authorities Science Faculty, Kagara have been launched.

The governor made the clarification on Friday whereas addressing newsmen in Mina the State capital.

Governor Bello famous that he was within the final stage of negotiations with the bandits, promising that the victims can be launched quickly.

DAILY POST had earlier reported {that a} Kaduna based mostly in style Islamic cleric, Sheik Ahmed Gumi, stated that the kidnapped college students and others kidnapped in Niger State will quickly be launched.

The cleric gave the reassurance after assembly with the bandits within the forests between Tegina in Niger State and Birnin Gwari in Kaduna State.
