Anambra gets new police commissioner

A brand new commissioner of police has been appointed for Anambra State.

He’s CP Monday Bala Kuryas.

Kuryas replaces Mr. John Abang, who was final month promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector Common of Police, AIG.

A press release by the spokesperson for Anambra State Police command, CSP Haruna Mohammed asserting this on Friday, acknowledged that Kuryas is a local of Kurya Dadu in Jaba LGA of Kaduna State.

“He holds a Bachelor’s Diploma in Political Science from the distinguished Usman Dan Fodio College Sokoto in 1986.

“He joined the Nigeria Police Power as a Cadet ASP in 1990. Since then, he occupied numerous positions within the Nigeria Police Power.”

Mohammed stated Kuryas is a recipient of many certificates of commendations and awards for bravery, laborious work and Selfless Service.

He listed his hobbies to incorporate; studying and watching soccer, and that he’s fortunately married with beautiful youngsters
