Armed bandits within the early hour of Saturday attacked the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, quarters, on the Kaduna airport and kidnapped 9 individuals.
These kidnapped included a household of 6 and one other housewife and her two kids.
It was gathered that the bandits gained entry to the quarters by the airport runway, at about 12.30am.
The screaming of the kidnapped victims attracted the navy personnel arond the world who mobilised and engaged the bandits in a gun battle.
This lasted for a number of hours, however the bandits went away with their victims on bikes.
The spokesperson for the FAAN, Henrietta Yakubu who confirmed the assault, disclosed that the quarters housed completely different personnel from numerous companies of the aviation business.
In the meantime, the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer couldn’t take his calls and textual content messages despatched to him bought no response.
