Bandits kill one, injure nine at Abaji Market in Benue

Unknown gunmen suspected to be armed bandits have killed two staff of the Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda in Zamfara State.

The bandits stormed the residents of the deceased at low price space of Kaura Namoda space of Zamfara State, unleashed terror assaults the place they have been mentioned to have killed Usama Nazifi, 37-year-old and Bashiru Muhammad, 39-year-old, all workers of the Federal Polytechnic within the State.

An eyewitness instructed DAILY POST that through the funeral prayer in Kaura Namoda, the bandits reportedly went into Nazifi’s home and requested him to open his room, however he raised an alarm that attracted public consideration.

Nazifi defined that the bandits went again, prompting him to hunt the help of his neighbour, Bashiru.

In the meantime, the state’s police spokesman, SP Mohammed Shehu who confirmed the killings, mentioned “police operatives are on the path of the assailants.

“Additionally, a discreet investigation is in progress with a view to unraveling the motives behind the killing in order that justice can take its course on any particular person or group present in reference to the act”.
