Head coach of the Tremendous Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has stated travelling by sea to Benin Republic forward of the qualifiers on Saturday, is the perfect route.
The Nigeria Soccer Federation (NFF) has determined the group will journey for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier by boat.
In response to Rohr, the space by sea will not be solely shorter however fairly calm.
“It is going to be the easiest way to go there.
“Final Saturday, I made the journey and we had been flying on the water. It was so fast and calm,” Rohr stated based on SportingLife.
The journey by sea takes round an hour.
The Nigerian delegation will set sail for Benin capital Porto-Novo on Friday morning.
The three-time African champions lead Group L with eight factors from 4 matches, whereas Benin is second on seven factors.
