Nnamdi Kanu, chief of the Indigenous Folks of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted to the assault on Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State’s convoy by a militia.
Recall that suspected militia herdsmen attacked Ortom in his farm at Tyo-mu, alongside Makurdi -Gboko highway earlier on Saturday
Addressing journalists after the incident, Ortom had stated the militia ambushed and opened hearth on him and his safety personnel on his farm.
He decried that the try on his life occurred a couple of days after the management of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore held a gathering in Yola and singled him out as a thorn of their flesh who have to be eradicated.
The governor had identified that he obtained intelligence to that impact.
Reacting to the incident, Kanu in a tweet wrote: “Day-after-day similar #Fulani terrorists and their Fulani sponsors in Aso Rock terrorising the entire of #Nigeria.
