Biafra group makes claims about Nigerian military plane crash in Abuja

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister, has reacted to the navy airplane crash in Abuja on Sunday.

Fani-Kayode known as for an intensive investigation into the circumstances and reason for the crash.

DAILY POST had reported that navy plane, King Air 350 crashed on Sunday morning on the runway of Abuja airport.

Confirming the incident, Air Vice Marshall Ibikunle Daramola, the Air Power Director of public relations and knowledge, stated that an investigation has been ordered to find out the reason for the airplane crash.

Reacting, Fani-Kayode, in a tweet on Sunday, prayed for the households of people who had been killed.

He tweeted: “The airplane crash that took the lives of seven of our compatriots in Abuja right now was a tragic & horrific tragedy of monumental proportions. My prayers are with the households of people who had been killed. I name for an intensive investigation into the circumstances & reason for the crash. RIP.”

On his half, Senator Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, tweeted: “For many who perished within the Abuja Airplane crash,Might their souls Relaxation In Peace.Might the Almighty give their households the fortitude to bear the loss. Ameen.”

Additionally reacting, former Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, wrote on Twitter, “My condolences to the Nigerian navy, households and family members of all Nigerian Airforce personnel on King Air 350. Might their be souls relaxation in peace. Unhappy day.”
