Gunmen have attacked the Adamawa United FC, dispossessed gamers of valuables and kidnapped the group driver.
The gunmen are stated to have demanded N50 million ransom for the motive force.
It was gathered from sources in Adamawa State on Saturday that the incident occurred earlier within the day, at about 6.30 am, alongside the Benin-Ore-Lagos street whereas the group was travelling for a recreation in Lagos.
A member of the group who spoke on cellphone relating to the incident stated the gamers and officers have been attacked by the gunmen who out of the blue emerged from the bush and held up the group at gunpoint.
The within supply stated the telephones of the group members, their cash and different valuables have been taken away by the attackers.
