Some gunmen believed to be bandits have struck once more in Niger State.

The bandits had been stated to have kidnapped ladies and youngsters in Gurmana village within the State.

Disclosing this, former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani alleged that the bandits who wore navy uniform struck at about 4 p.m.

In a tweet, the previous lawmaker claimed that a few of the residents who tried to flee drowned in River Kaduna.

“Bandits in Army uniform attacked Gurmana, a village in Niger State round 4pm yesterday. They kidnapped largely ladies and youngsters.

“Some who tried to flee drowned within the River Kaduna. I spoke to one of many survivors, a instructor, now looking for refuge in Kuta, Niger State. A tragedy, a day,” he tweeted.

That is coming barely every week after bandits had kidnapped some college students from Authorities Science School in Kagara.
