Nigerian troops have reclaimed Marte in Borno State from Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists.
The operation lasted hours on Tuesday; scores of insurgents have been killed.
A navy officer advised PRNigeria that the troops safely detonated numerous improvised explosive units buried alongside the routes.
“New Marte successfully in our palms since 3pm. Our will and dedication are unshaken. We’re ever decided to not let our service chiefs and the nation down,” he stated.
DAILY POST gathered that there was an enormous deployment of navy property within the offensive that prolonged to areas round Marte.

On Sunday, the Chief of Workers, Maj Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, gave troops 48 hours to reclaim Marte.
The COAS issued the order when he visited troops of Military Tremendous Camp 9 in Dikwa LGA of Borno.
Final week, terrorists attacked a navy base in Dikwa and captured Marte.
They invaded the neighborhood on bikes and light-weight vans mounted with Heavy Machine Weapons (HMGs).
