Omoyele Sowore, convener of the RevolutionNow Motion on Monday known as for the removing of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Sowore made the decision whereas reacting to the assault on the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom by a Fulani militia.
Some Fulani militia had tried to assassinate Ortom in his farm alongside Makurdi-Gboko street on Saturday.

Reacting to the event, Sowore lamented that Nigerians are not protected of their nation.
In a tweet, the activist wrote: “A Governor isn’t protected in his dwelling state, Nigerians will not be protected of their farms, college students will not be protected of their lecture rooms, our persons are not protected in worship locations, travellers will not be protected on our roads, the office is unsafe for employees #BuhariMustGo.”
