President Muhammadu Buhari has permitted the re-appointment of Mr. Alexander Ayoola Okoh because the Director-Basic, Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE)
The reappointment is in accordance with the availability of Part 17 (1)(a) and (2)(a) of the Public Enterprise (Privatization & Commercialization) Act, 1999.
A press release signed by the Senior Particular Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, mentioned the renewal will take impact from April 10, 2021.
It added that, “The BPE is the Federal Authorities company charged with financial reforms particularly the privatization & commercialization of government-owned enterprises within the nation. BPE additionally serves because the secretariat of the Nationwide Council on Privatization.
“Within the final 4 years, BPE has witnessed a notable invigoration in its actions.”
