Court remands man over possession of human parts

A 40-year-old man, Adeboye Moshood has been remanded by an Osogbo Magistrates’ Courtroom over illegal possession of human elements.

The accused particular person was stated to have dedicated the offence on February 16, 2021, round 9:00 am at Gbongan in Osogbo.

The prosecutor, Jacob Akintunde instructed the courtroom that the accused particular person was present in possession of human elements.

He stated the accused particular person conspired with others nonetheless at massive to unlawfully interface with the corpse of a human to commit a misdemeanour to wit.

The offence dedicated contravened part 517, 241, 430 of the Legal Code CAP 34 Vol 11 Legislation of Osun state 2002.

Moshood pleaded not responsible to the four-count cost levelled towards him.

The defence counsel, Nwoke Kasia prayed the courtroom to grant his consumer bail in most liberal phrases and promise to offer dependable sureties.

The prosecutor opposed the bail utility because of the magnitude of the offence dedicated.

In his ruling, Justice of the Peace Isola Omisade remanded the accused particular person at Ilesa Correctional centre.

He adjourned the case until March 9, 2021, for ruling.
