COVID-19: Governors, deputies to be vaccinated March 10

State governors and their deputies are to take the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday March 10.

Kayode Fayemi, Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Discussion board (NGF) and Ekiti Governor made the announcement on Thursday.

He addressed the media after governors’ emergency digital assembly.

Fayemi confirmed that the vaccination can be completed publicly.

The NGF chairman stated the discussion board was dedicated to working with the federal authorities on a chilly chain for the vaccine.

The governor urged Nigerians to take the vaccine, assuring it was secure for individuals as much as 18 years.

Fayemi suggested them to register on the Nationwide Main Well being Care Growth Company web site – nphcsaict.com.ng/publicreg.

Boss Mustapha, Chairman of the Presidential Job Drive (PTF) on COVID-19 and Secretary to the Authorities of the Federation, briefed governors on the three.92m doses of the vaccine acquired by Nigeria.
