The Arewa Consultative Discussion board (ACF) has known as on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare Benue, Taraba and Borno states no-fly zones.
ACF Chairman, Audu Ogbeh claimed that there have been rumours that aircrafts “continuously drop arms for bandits and insurgents” working within the states.
Ogbe made the decision following the declaration of a no-fly zone on Zamfara State because of the difficulty of insecurity bedevilling the state.
He mentioned the prolonged ban will curb the actions of prison components within the state.
In a press release, Ogbe mentioned: “Arewa Consultative Discussion board congratulates the individuals and authorities of Zamfara State on the secure launch of the kidnapped schoolgirls from the Authorities Ladies Secondary Faculty within the state.
