DPR seals 7 filling stations for sharp practices in Delta

Warri Zonal Workplace of the Division of Petroleum Assets (DPR) has sealed seven filling stations at Oleh in Delta over sharp practices.

Mr Olakanmi Ayodeji, the Assistant Director, Operation, DPR, Warri Zonal Workplace, informed newsmen in Warri on Thursday that the erring filling stations have been sealed on Tuesday.

Ayodeji named the stations at Oleh in Isoko South Native Authorities Space of the state as Robor Nig. Ltd; Felimbuk Nig. Ltd and AP Oleh service station.

The others are Eskom Electrical Ltd, Mama G Divine Venture, Dipaag Oil and Fuel and Felimbuk Nig. Ltd.

Ayodeji stated they have been sanctioned for varied offences starting from under-dispensing, working with out a legitimate licence and hoarding.

He stated the DPR surveillance crew visited 17 shops within the Ughelli/Isoko axis and shut down the seven stations.

The DPR official stated 4 of the remaining ten filling stations have been with out merchandise.

Ayodeji stated the company would maintain surveillance throughout the state to verify sharp practices amongst entrepreneurs.

The assistant director stated the offenders would pay the stipulated fines to the Federal Authorities earlier than their filling stations can be re-opened.
