The Nigerian Military on Monday described the allegation of extortion towards its personnel in Edo State as a deliberate orchestration of falsehood circulated to intentionally smear its picture.
The Director, Military Public Relations, Brig.- Common Mohammed Yerima, in an announcement, reacted to a video clip alleging that military personnel have been gathering N1000 from luxurious buses alongside Agbor-Benin street.
Yerima defined that it was additionally alleged within the stated video that pandemonium ensued following an allegation that transporters refused to pay the unlawful toll.
