The Clerk of the Ondo State Home of Meeting, Bode Adeyelu and a member of the Meeting, Bankole Felemugudu, have been detained by the Financial and Monetary Crime Fee (EFCC).
The 2 have been alleged to have been detained over accusations of fraud within the Meeting.
It was gathered that earlier than their detention, they have been invited by the anti-graft company for an interview over a fraud allegedly dedicated in 2019.
In line with sources on the Meeting, the EFCC invitation was honoured final week after which they have been subsequently detained following a sequence of interrogation.
The supply mentioned, “It’s true. The Clerk of the Home and Hon. Felemugudu Bankole together with two civil servants within the Meeting are there within the EFCC’s custody. They have been detained there.
