Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Ince, has urged supervisor, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to attempt to signal Sergio Aguero from their rivals Manchester Metropolis.
In keeping with Ince, that’s what former Purple Devils boss, Sir Alex Ferguson did, when he landed Eric Cantona from Leeds United.
Aguero is out of contract on the Etihad this summer time and Pep Guardiola is but to substantiate his plans for the Argentine striker.
Ince instructed Ladbrokes: “Sergio Aguero is perhaps leaving Man Metropolis, why shouldn’t United make a transfer for him?.
“You may see it now; if he wished to remain within the Premier League and he’s residing in Manchester, then I don’t suppose it could be a nasty factor in any respect in the event that they went and bought Aguero.
“It will probably occur, who is aware of? You’ve bought to ask the query for those who’re United since you by no means know.
“It occurred with us again in 1992 when Howard Wilkinson was asking Sir Alex Ferguson about Denis Irwin. Fergie mentioned there’d be no probability of that occuring and advised Leeds offered Cantona to them and inside a few days that deal was finished.
“It was simply Fergie throwing a reputation on the market and taking an opportunity, attempting his luck. Perhaps that’s what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ought to do with Aguero this summer time.”
