Governor Ikpeazu Okezie has taken a swipe at Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for claiming that the infrastructure at present being executed in Aba is being carried out by the federal authorities.
Kalu, who represents Abia North on the Senate was accused of intentionally spreading falsehood to sway victory for his youthful brother, Mascot even when he really is aware of that the federal authorities was not contributing a dime to the constructing and rebuilding of the inner roads and different infrastructure being inbuilt Aba.
Reacting, Ikpeazu in a tweet on Monday, mentioned that Kalu shouldn’t be blamed as a result of he was in jail when the infrastructure kicked off within the state.
“I heard that some persons are saying that the roads we did in Aba have been paid for by the Federal Authorities by way of them.
“Please don’t be indignant at such individuals, they have been in jail after we flagged off these roads and they aren’t used to seeing such roads in Aba
“By the point they got here out of jail and noticed these lovely roads, they didn’t imagine that such roads may very well be carried out in Aba and totally paid for by our authorities. Please forgive them.”
