Suspected gunmen have kidnapped a workers of the Ado Native Authorities, Ekiti State, Mrs. Funmilola Osalusi and took her to an unknown vacation spot.
The widow is the spouse of the late Surveyor-Normal of Ekiti State, Mr. Felix Oladapo Osalusi, who died barely a 12 months in the past.
Explaining how the incident occurred, Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti Command, ASP Sunday Abutu, stated the girl was kidnapped yesterday by three gun-wielding males.
The PPRO added that the incident occurred at Mrs Osalusi’s residence situated behind the workplace of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Polytechnic street, Ado Ekiti metropolis.
Abutu stated the incident occurred round 9:20pm, when the girl was stated to have been tricked by abductors out of the gate and silently ferried away of their automobile.
“The armed males numbering three have been stated to have knocked on the gate of the sufferer’s residence and tricked her outdoors.
“She was stated to have come out of the gate to determine the identities of the visitors and as she did that, the gunmen have been stated to have quietly taken her away of their automobile”.
Abutu stated the Police Commissioner, Babatunde Mobayo had deployed detectives to suspected bushes the place the girl was taken to rescue her out of the abductors’ den.
Abutu added that the police would work with operatives of the Amotekun corps, native hunters, the vigilante Group of Nigeria and different stakeholders to rescue the widow from the captivity.
The police Spokesman urged the members of the general public to oblige the police with veracious data that would assist in rescuing the girl.
