Following the current assault on Abagena village in Makurdi Native Authorities Space of Benue State by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Monday evening, youths within the space have vowed to up take arms for self-defence.
DAILY POST had reported that suspected Fulani herdsmen invaded the village at about midday Monday killing no fewer than 7 individuals as scores sustained various levels of accidents.
Angered by the repeated incident in the neighborhood, the youths within the village blocked the Lafia/Makurdi street on Tuesday morning demanding justice from governments.
Addressing newsmen through the protest, the president of the neighborhood youths who recognized himself as Mr Amos, mentioned they have to be allowed to bear arms.
