I was misquoted by bloggers on Appeal Court Justices statement – NBA President, Akpata

The President of the Nigerian Bar Affiliation (NBA), Mr Olumide Akpata has mentioned he was misquoted by some social media bloggers on an announcement he made concerning the current appointment of Enchantment Courtroom Justices.

In keeping with him, a blogger who misunderstood his view on the appointment of the Justices printed one other model of his authentic assertion.

The NBA president, made the clarification whereas talking throughout a public discussion board on the Supreme Courtroom Abuja.

Mr Akpata mentioned the NBA NEC member, who misinterpreted him within the mentioned publication, was entitled to attend the assembly, stressing that he cannot cease the offender from such a gathering.

He mentioned the publication has the tendency of threatening the connection between the NBA and the Nationwide Judicial Council (NJC).

Nonetheless, Akpata assured that the connection between the duo would proceed to be nurtured and sustained.

“On March 18, 2021, because the President of the NBA, I chaired a gathering of the Nationwide Govt Committee (NBA-N EC) of the NBA held in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital.
