The Inspector-Common of Police, Mohammed Adamu has lamented the devastating impact of drug and cultism in society, saying they’re the dual causes of insecurity within the nation.
The IG Adamu made the assertions at a stakeholders discussion board convened by the Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano with safety heads and leaders of varied communities within the state.
Adamu who was represented by the Deputy Inspector Common of Police accountable for finance and administration, DIG Joseph Egbunike, charged his males to do all that they will to make sure that they nip drug abuse within the bud.
He stated, “Drug and cultism are the best challenges we have now in Nigeria at this time. After they take all these items (medication), they have no idea the worth of life any longer. That’s the drawback we have now, however it’s the duty of everyone to make sure that this stops.

In his response, Governor Obiano charged leaders in varied communities to deliver their youths into management in a bid to curb using medication.
