Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State has mentioned that he would resign his place if that may carry peace to the State.
Matawalle, who spoke on Channels Tv’s Politics Right this moment, disclosed this when requested if he’s intimidated by the Federal Authorities’s declaration of a ‘No-Fly Zone’ in Zamfara.
He defined that he was not power-hungry, including that he has been having a sleepless evening to guard the individuals of Zamfara.
The governor mentioned: “I’m prepared to just accept any answer that may carry safety to my state.
“I’m not intimidated. If I do know that my resigning as a governor will make the individuals sleep with their two eyes closed, I can resign. I’m able to do what is going to carry safety.
“I’m not power-hungry. I’ve been having a sleepless evening to guard the individuals of Zamfara State.”
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had ordered a no-fly zone in Zamfara State and banned unlawful mining following problems with insecurity within the State.
Buhari had issued the order throughout the Safety Council assembly in Abuja, on Tuesday.
The Nationwide Safety Adviser (NSO), retired Maj. -Gen. Babagana Monguno had disclosed this to newsmen.
