The workplace of the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC, in Essien Udim Native Authorities Space of Akwa Ibom state has been set ablaze.

INEC Nationwide Commissioner and Chairman, Info and Voter Training Committee, Festus Okoye, confirmed the incident in an announcement launched on Sunday.

The workplace was set ablaze by unidentified individuals within the early hours of Sunday, Might 2nd, 2021.

“The incident occurred within the early hours of Sunday. Our safety guard on obligation was unharmed however the destruction to the constructing and properties had been in depth.
