The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has stated he owes no one any apology over his latest place on insecurity.
Ortom stated he wouldn’t be intimidated into shying away from telling Nigerians the reality on subject of insecurity.
The governor spoke in his house city, Tse-Adorogo, Nzorov Council Ward of Guma Native Authorities Space, Native Authorities Space of the state
Ortom reiterated his stance that on open grazing as a panacea to the disaster between farmers and herders.
He stated: “I’ve been agitating within the final 5 years that it’s time to finish open grazing in Nigeria to place an finish to the herders disaster that has now snowballed into a serious menace to nationwide safety.
“By the grace of God we are going to get there and we are going to all be happier for it. And like I stated on the time, our agitation for ranching will someday be celebrated like we did June 12 as a result of it’s the greatest international follow to enthrone peace in our expensive nation.
“So far as I’m doing the correct factor to avoid wasting our nation, I owe nobody an apology significantly these in positions of authority who would quite select to stay silent and watch our nation head in the direction of anarchy.
