Internet fraud: EFCC arrests 57 suspects recovers rifles in Ogun

The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee(EFCC), Ibadan Zonal Workplace has arrested 57 suspected web fraudsters at their resort hideouts in Ilaro space of Ogun State.

A press release by EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren stated that the suspects have been arrested on Friday in an operation that adopted actionable intelligence linking them to alleged fraudulent actions.

The anti graft company stated that the actions vary from love rip-off on quite a few courting websites, acquiring cash by false pretenses and different cybercrimes.

The EFCC stated that two pump motion rifles, 4 unique automobiles, cellphones, laptops and a number of other incriminating paperwork have been recovered from the suspects.

It stated that the suspects can be charged to courtroom as quickly as investigations have been concluded.
