The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered the arrest of 13 leaders of warring teams of Gengere group, Mile 12, within the Ketu space.
They’re accused of involvement within the violence orchestrated by some thugs within the afternoon of April 30.
Odumosu gave the order throughout the interrogation of invited group heads on the State Headquarters, Ikeja.
A press release by Muyiwa Adejobi, Police Public Relations Officer stated preliminary investigation confirmed that the Commander of the Safety Committee in Gengere, Alhaji Alidu Mohammed, allegedly disrespected Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
In response, hoodlums went on rampage, attacked him, set ablaze his two automobiles, vandalised one in every of his homes and burned a constructing belonging to 1 Alhaji Mamuda.
