Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister, has reacted to the army aircraft crash in Abuja on Sunday.
Fani-Kayode known as for an intensive investigation into the circumstances and explanation for the crash.
DAILY POST had reported that army plane, King Air 350 crashed on Sunday morning on the runway of Abuja airport.
Confirming the incident, Air Vice Marshall Ibikunle Daramola, the Air Drive Director of public relations and knowledge, mentioned that an investigation has been ordered to find out the reason for the aircraft crash.
Reacting, Fani-Kayode, in a tweet on Sunday, prayed for the households of those who had been killed.
He tweeted: “The aircraft crash that took the lives of seven of our compatriots in Abuja in the present day was a tragic & horrific tragedy of monumental proportions. My prayers are with the households of those who had been killed. I name for an intensive investigation into the circumstances & explanation for the crash. RIP.”
On his half, Senator Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, tweeted: “For individuals who perished within the Abuja Airplane crash,Could their souls Relaxation In Peace.Could the Almighty give their households the fortitude to bear the loss. Ameen.”
Additionally reacting, former Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, wrote on Twitter, “My condolences to the Nigerian army, households and family members of all Nigerian Airforce personnel on King Air 350. Could their be souls relaxation in peace. Unhappy day.”
