The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) on Monday introduced that it has concluded all plans to begin the sale of 2021/2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) registration varieties.
The board in its Vol. 2, No. 15 Weekly Bulletin from the Workplace of the Registrar despatched to NAN mentioned official dates for the graduation of the sale of each varieties and the conduct of the examinations could be introduced not later than March 24.
JAMB defined that the delay was a results of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Not like the earlier years, this yr is peculiar due to the sequence of disruptions to nearly all points of public life occasioned by Coronavirus pandemic. “It’s with this extant actuality in thoughts that the delay is being skilled, with the board embarking on a sequence of strategic changes to make sure that educational actions aren’t unduly impacted.
The board warned the general public in opposition to any ongoing sale of varieties and registration, including that it’s not related to JAMB.
