Kaduna State Authorities on Friday confirmed that suspected bandits killed 13 individuals and injured seven in Zangon Kataf, Kauru and Chikun native authorities areas of the state
This was confirmed in an announcement on Friday.
The assertion which was conveyed by the Commissioner for Inner Safety and House Affairs on Friday, Samuel Aruwan mentioned, there have been a collection of assaults throughout communities in Zangon Kataf, Kauru and Chikun native authorities areas.
“This was reported to the Kaduna State Authorities by the Navy below the auspices of Operation Secure Haven (OPSH).”
“In accordance with the report, armed bandits attacked one Irmiya Godwin and his brother as they returned from their farm in Gora Gan village of Zangon Kataf LGA. Irmiya Godwin was killed, whereas his brother escaped.
“In one other incident, armed bandits attacked Kizachi village of Kauru LGA, and killed ten individuals, leaving 4 others injured. Fifty-six homes and 16 bikes have been razed, with a number of barns additionally raided and burnt.
“These killed are listed as, Esther Bulus, Maria Bulus (one-year-old daughter of Esther), Lami Bulus, Aliyu Bulus, Monday Joseph, Geje Abuba, Wakili Filibus, Yakubu Ali., Dije Waziri, Joseph Ibrahim,” the assertion mentioned.
“The injured are Cecilia Aku, Yakubu Idi, Godiya Saleh, Moses Adamu.
“The injured are receiving therapy in hospital.”
“Moreover, Masaka village in Chikun native authorities was attacked. One Duza Bamaiyi was killed, and two different individuals have been injured. Troops mobilized to the placement to ultimately repel the assault.
“Equally, armed bandits killed one Zakka Pada in Kurmin Kaduna of Chikun native authorities space, and left one Pada Dalle injured.
