The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered the arrest of 13 leaders of warring teams of Gengere group, Mile 12, within the Ketu space.

They’re accused of involvement within the violence orchestrated by some thugs within the afternoon of April 30.

Odumosu gave the order throughout the interrogation of invited group heads on the State Headquarters, Ikeja.

A press release by Muyiwa Adejobi, Police Public Relations Officer stated preliminary investigation confirmed that the Commander of the Safety Committee in Gengere, Alhaji Alidu Mohammed, allegedly disrespected Prophet Mohammed (SAW).

Odumosu has directed the DCP, State CID, Panti, Adegoke Fayoade, to take over the case and perform an Investigation into the homicide and arson instances recorded throughout the disaster.

The CP warned that the command won’t tolerate any act of non secular intolerance and lawlessness in any a part of Lagos.
