Two policemen from Gauteng have been arrested for allegedly driving inebriated.
Police spokesperson, Brig Mathapelo Peters on Monday stated a 27-year-old constable was arrested in Sedibeng on Saturday night after he drove carelessly into an accident scene and injured an onlooker.
On Thursday night, a 37-year-old sergeant was additionally arrested in Norwood after his automobile collided with a metro police automobile.
The 2 officers had been arrested and charged with driving inebriated and reckless and negligent driving.

She added that other than the 2 policemen, over 740 different suspects had been arrested over the weekend after a number of operations by the police.
