Protesting youths from Ogboji neighborhood in Orumba South Native Authorities Space of Anambra State have excommunicated 9, out of 11 elders listed as members of a brand new caretaker committee of the neighborhood.
The protesting youths who wielded placards with varied inscriptions on Friday stormed the palace of the normal ruler of the neighborhood, HRH Igwe Festus Iyioku to protest the structure of a caretaker committee locally, regardless of the non-expiration of the tenure of the present leaders.
President of the Ogboji Youth Affiliation, Mr Chukwuweike Okeke who led the youths whereas addressing the monarch insisted that 9 members of the brand new caretaker committee have been excommunicated from the neighborhood, whereas two had been pardoned for confessing that their names had been listed with out their information.
