The police have arrested a person from phoenix in KwaZulu-Natal for homicide within the early hours of Thursday.
He allegedly murdered his 34-year-old ex-partner and her two-year-old daughter.
In accordance with the police, the suspect allegedly attacked the lady and the toddler with a bush knife at their dwelling.
It’s understood that the assault was prompted by a home dispute on Wednesday evening.
The 34-year-old girl was declared useless on the scene whereas the two-year-old lady gave up on her strategy to the hospital.
Police spokesperson Jay Naicker stated that the suspect instantly fled the scene after he attacked the 2.
“The suspect had allegedly fled into the bushes yesterday and police looked for him all through the evening.”
“He was noticed returning to the home the place the homicide passed off within the early hours of this morning.”
The suspect is in police custody until his courtroom look.
