The 52-year-old is presently in custody after he was arrested within the early hours of Friday.

The accused, Zamile Nongogo does this unlawful act by creating fraudulent payslips for his shoppers for them to buy vehicles.

After his arrest, Nongogo appeared on the East London Justice of the Peace’s court docket on a cost of fraud on Monday.

Hawks spokesperson, Lwando Zenzile stated “Nongogo was arrested within the early hours on Friday morning, previous to his court docket look, following the probe by the Hawks’ critical business crime investigation crew”.

“Nongogo allegedly helped automobile finance candidates by facilitating and creating false payslips for them to purchase vehicles in 2013.

“It’s additional alleged that these supporting paperwork have been submitted at a monetary establishment in East London.”

Nongogo had his court docket case postponed until November  3.
