The Non-Educational Workers Union (NASU) and Senior Workers Affiliation of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Lagos State College (LASU) Chapter, on Thursday suspended an indefinite strike over excellent arrears of minimal wage and different calls for.
NASU and SSANU beneath the aegis of the Joint Motion Committee (JAC) had launched into a nationwide strike on Feb. 5, to compel the Federal Authorities to handle their calls for.

“It was led by the Commissioner for Institutions and the federal government appealed to us to honour the governor by suspending the strike.
“After the suspension of the strike, we are able to come again to barter with the federal government regarding our points or calls for.
“We consider that the governor will do no matter he says,” Sanni stated.
Miss Zainab Adams, Public Relations Officer, Scholar Union, LASU, stated that the scholars had but to return to campus.
Adams stated that LASU administration can be assembly on Friday, to debate and announce a resumption date so college students might conclude examinations.
