The Nationwide Drug Legislation Enforcement Company (NDLEA) has intercepted a container load of Tramadol on the Apapa seaport in Lagos.
Almost two million capsules tucked in 554 cartons had been found within the storage falsely declared to hold ceramic tiles.
Apapa Port Space Commander, Samuel Gadzama, disclosed that one of many containers had been intercepted and seized in Kenya.
“Although the second container discovered its method to Nigeria, the eagle eyes of our narcotic brokers found it throughout a joint inspection of the ship”, he stated.
Equally, operatives of the Lagos Command raided some areas in Agege, Ikorodu, Lekki, Okokomaiko and different elements of the State.
They dismantled syndicates’ hideouts and arrested 90 suspects, together with an Indian. Greater than 614 kilograms of varied sorts of medicine had been seized.

On Samuel Ebenezer, a suspect apprehended in Lekki, NDLEA stated his cartel imports medicine baked in muffins, biscuits and cookies from the US and sells to wealthy folks.
The second syndicate, coordinated by Inderpreet Singh, aka Bobby, imports Tramadol 225mg from India and sells from Osy Agomo Shut, Apple Property, Amuwo Odofin in Lagos.
“Mr. Singh can be a seller in tricycle elements and the Managing Director of Rashaan Buying and selling Ltd. Arrested with him is a Nigerian, one Sylvester Omoredien”, the company confirmed.
