Niger govt announces death of Emir of Kagara, Salihu Tanko

The Authorities of Niger State has introduced the demise of Malam Salihu Tanko, the Emir of Kagara in Rafi Native Authorities Space of the State.

Malam Salihu Tanko died at present in Minna after a protracted sickness.

In a condolence message signed by the Secretary to the State Authorities, SSG, Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, he described the late Emir of Kagara as a bridge-builder.

He mentioned throughout his lifetime, he reached throughout ethnic, cultural, and spiritual divides to advertise peace and unity not solely in his area however the State as a complete.

The SSG said, “the contributions of late Malam Salihu Tanko to the event of Kagara Emirate, the whole State and certainly Nigeria are unparalleled. His life on earth was very eventful and his achievements in all spheres of life left indelible marks on the individuals of his area and Nigerians.

” On behalf of the Authorities and other people of Niger State, I need to categorical my honest and heartfelt condolences to the Chairman, Niger State Council of Conventional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe, household of late Malam Salihu Tanko, and the individuals of Kagara Emirate.”

Matane prayed that the Almighty Allah (SWT) would forgive the shortcomings of the departed, bear in mind his good works, grant his soul everlasting relaxation in addition to give his household and the individuals of the Emirate the much-needed energy and luxury to bear the loss.

In the meantime, the SSG additional introduced that the Janazah Prayer is scheduled to carry in Kagara, headquarters of Rafi Native Authorities Council by 4:00 pm.
