The Senate on Wednesday requested the three officers of the Buhari administration to look by subsequent Tuesday.

They’re Nationwide Safety Adviser Babagana Monguno, Finance Minister Zainab Ahmed, and Accountant Basic of the Federation Ahmed Idris.

The Purple Chamber of the Nationwide Meeting is searching for solutions on secret withdrawal of N7.5billion from the treasury.

The cash is 2 % of the Nationwide Automotive Council Design & Growth Council (NADDC) levy account domiciled with the Central Financial institution of Nigeria (CBN).

NADDC Director Basic, Jelani Tukur stated the company had written to Ahmed and Idris for clarifications.

He talked about the withdrawal of N3.7billion as mortgage to NAFCON, withdrawal of N3.8billion for safety personnel automobile mortgage scheme, and one other withdrawal of N2.3billion as mortgage to Steyrs Nigeria Restricted.

The DG stated a letter of reminder was despatched to Niger Insurance coverage Plc on the settlement reached on July ninth 2020 as ordered by the committee.

Tukur disclosed that letters had been written to the Minister and the Accountant Basic on April 23 April, 2021.
