Nollywood actor, Swanky JKA has stated the film business in Nigeria is stereotyped with no construction.
The ‘Residing in Bondage’ star actor stated this throughout an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin minds.
Based on him, Nollywood is all about cash and has ‘stereotyping’ as its greatest downside.
Swanky stated: “The Greatest downside with Nollywood is stereotyping, if I used to be an actor in Lagos once I auditioned for Residing in bondage’ I’ll not have been chosen for the position as a result of they had been on the lookout for somebody that was not standard.
“There is no such thing as a plan or construction in Nollywood, it’s all concerning the cash. It is rather like when everyone seems to be doing Ghetto or comedy films, everybody would do comedy and it’s an enormous downside
“Most veteran actors are being stereotyped to at least one position and that’s not good.”
