A former Speaker of the Home of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, on Thursday, met with Governor Dapo Abiodun in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Bankole, an indigene of Ogun State, was not too long ago obtained into the All Progressives Congress (APC) by President Muhammadu Buhari on the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
Recieving the previous Speaker at his Oke-Mosan workplace, Abiodun mentioned, “Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole and I had good time to debate, when the previous Speaker of the Home of Representatives visited my workplace immediately.
“Rt. Hon. Bankole not too long ago turned a member of our nice celebration, the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.”
Earlier, Bankole had met with former Governor Olusegun Osoba behind closed doorways.
Particulars of the conferences had been but to be made public as of the time of submitting this report.
DAILY POST experiences that Bankole was among the many 61 celebration leaders appointed by the APC as members of the Contact/Technique Committee.
The committee, which was inaugurated on Tuesday, is chaired by Jigawa Governor, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar.
