Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has taken supply of fifty,000 doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford COVID-19 vaccine from the Federal Authorities.
Abiodun obtained the vaccines on Monday on the Okemosan Governor’s workplace, Abeokuta.
In line with Abiodun, Ogun turned the primary state to the coronavirus vaccine amongst different states, including that one other batch of fifty,000 doses is being anticipated.
Abiodun advised newsmen that Ogun is the primary state to obtain the vaccines, saying the 50,000 doses make the primary batch of vaccines was being anticipated between Monday evening and Tuesday.
The Governor acknowledged that he and his Deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyedele would lead the vaccination at a later date.
