College students in Ogun State have raised the alarm over the kidnapping and killing of scholars in numerous components of the nation, expressing concern that the ugly development may unfold to Ogun State.

The concern of the scholars, DAILY POST learnt, was not unconnected with the current circumstances of kidnapping within the state, particularly the kidnapping of two feminine college students of Olabisi Onabanjo College (OOU), Ayetoro campus.

At a press convention on Tuesday, the scholars, below the aegis of the Nationwide Affiliation of Nigerian College students (NANS), mentioned the present price of insecurity reveals that the federal government is poor in offering satisfactory safety for lives and property inside its jurisdiction.

NANS mentioned it was saddened with the killing of 5 of the kidnapped college students of Greenfield College in Kaduna State.
