Omuo Violence: Ekiti Council of Traditional Rulers sues for peace

The Ekiti State Council of Conventional Rulers has appealed to politicians within the state to maintain the peace and cease bloodletting as witnessed in Omuo Ekiti over the last Saturday’s bye-election for Ekiti East constituency one.

The Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti and Chairman of the State Conventional Council, Oba Ajibade Alabi made the attraction whereas addressing newsmen in Ilawe Ekiti.

He urged the folks of Ekiti State to play politics with out bitterness and killings.

The monarch pressured that Ekiti couldn’t afford to develop into a theatre of battle due to any election.

The chairman, council of Obas famous that the grotesque killings that happened in the course of the election had been pointless and condemnable.

He commiserated with the households of the deceased, praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.

The Alawe suggested Safety brokers to prosecute these arrested in reference to the killings in Omuo Ekiti, urging the folks of the neighborhood to stay calm and preserve the peace.
