Organized labour suspends proposed strike in Kogi

The Organized Labour in Kogi State has suspended its proposed strike scheduled to start midnight of Sunday twenty first March 2021.

Labour in a press release collectively signed on Friday by the Secretaries, Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC), Comrade Owoeye Anthony, Commerce Union Congress, (TUC), Comrade Kolawole James and Joint Public Service Negotiating Council, (JPSNC), Comrade I. Abubakar mentioned the State Authorities ordered members of the 17-man committee to renew work instantly with a mandate to submit its report in a really brief time, to avert the looming strike.
