In preparation for the sleek take-off of the Osun Meals Assist Scheme initiated by the Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, a ministerial assembly to fine-tune how the meals distribution train can be carried out by stakeholders on the state, native and ward ranges has been held.
The assembly DAILY POST gathered was referred to as on the occasion of the seven-member meals help committee which has the state Commissioner for Regional Integration and Particular Duties, Olalekan Badmus as its Chairman.
Talking on the inaugural assembly which held on the Convention Room, Ministry of Info and Civic Orientation on Tuesday, the Chairman of the Committee, Olalekan Badmus defined that the aim of setting it up by Governor Oyetola is to offer help to the weak individuals within the state.
The commissioner added that the scheme is concentrating on 30,000 weak individuals who shall be supported with meals objects on a month-to-month foundation.
He famous that the task was a crucial one and referred to as on all stakeholders to work collectively to make sure the success of the scheme.
