The Oyo State Home of Meeting has begun investigations into reported illegalities in some markets within the state.
DAILY POST reviews that the probe is sequel to a movement raised at plenary by the Chairman, Home Committee on Commerce and Cooperative, Akinjide Olajide titled “Pressing must curb illegalities, mismanagement and income leakages in markets throughout Oyo State”.
The Meeting famous that the state of affairs posed a grave hazard for the financial development of the state in opposition to what was envisioned by the Governor Seyi Makinde-led authorities.

The Meeting unanimously urged the state executives to place measures in place to resuscitate and empower the duty drive on markets.
It directed the Committee on Commerce and Cooperative, in addition to the Committee on Setting and Ecology to analyze the matter promptly and report back to the Home in two weeks.
